| The CPM (Computer-aided Program Model) was derived from the study of Defensive oriented teams and how a players style may be valued by the team. The players below are calculated vs. Defensive oriented NBA teams. When you remove defensive responsibilities players that have high output in college can literally vault up the charts. These same players tend to make short term impacts as pros or they are very limited to the types of teams they can succeed on. (Version 11 has Jimmer, JJ, and Adam all receiving the max 224 points as offensive threats, yet their liability on the court is minus 15. Meaning every point these players score their opponent should be above their average by 10-15 pts on the nights they play against defensive liabilities. These trends happens largely on games decided by 5pts or less). As great as Steve Nash is his opponents have had career nights against him. Point guards can be given more leeway due to the fact it is usually the oppositions point guard scoring and not running his offense. It is a long winded subject but PG can be one sided far more often. |

| This is the approximate value of the players 2nd or 3rd contract after their initial rookie contract has expired. This is based on a 50 million dollar league/team salary cap. If a team has a 60 million dollar team salary then multiply numbers above by as much as 20pct. This is a unique program that can tell you the approximate value of a player on the open market after year 3-5. |
